Canada committed cultural genocide. Like many Canadians I had no idea. It wasn't until I moved to BC that I learnt about the on going suffering of First Nations people at the hands of our government and religious groups. The Lilwat people accepted me with open arms into their families, I will forever be honoured to be apart of this community. All of these photos were completely volunteered by the models and free of charge. I hope everyone takes the time to educate themselves about First Nations issues such as Residential Schools, MMIW, etc.
